We collect only the information needed to run the product, secure it, and keep your application workflow organized.

• Account data: name, email address, authentication identifiers, and account settings.
• Profile and resume data: resume files or text, parsed resume details, skills, work history, education, preferences, reusable answers, and application materials you choose to store.
• Job and application data: saved jobs, source URLs, company, title, description, location, compensation when available, match scores, quality signals, notes, statuses, queue settings, and application outcomes.
• Form and workflow data: application field labels, answer options, filled values, review flags, screenshots or page state only where needed for a product workflow or support request, and submit/confirmation status.
• Extension activity: active job-page URL, page title, job/application page metadata, supported form fields, and browser workflow events needed to detect, fill, review, submit, or track supported applications.
• Technical data: device/browser type, extension version, error logs, performance events, security events, and usage events such as page views or feature interactions.

The extension runs in your browser so it can recognize job pages, application forms, and supported workflow states. It may use Chrome extension APIs, including scripting, tabs, web navigation, side panel, offscreen, storage, identity, active tab, and debugger-based interactions, to perform user-facing YouxAI features.

• Local AI and local answer paths:

  Some review, scoring, and answer-generation paths can run in the extension or browser using local models and local profile context. Local features may still store settings, model state, and workflow records in browser storage.

• Cloud sync:

  Account data, profile data, saved jobs, queue records, notes, and application history may sync to our cloud database so the dashboard and extension can stay connected.

• Backend extraction fallback:

  When local parsing is weak or unavailable, supported job-page or application-page context may be sent to backend extraction services to identify job details, fields, or workflow state.

• Cloud-backed AI features:

  If a cloud-backed AI feature is enabled, we may send the minimum job context, profile snippets, resume snippets, field labels, answer options, and user instructions needed to produce the requested result.

• Authenticate accounts and keep the web app and extension connected.
• Save jobs, maintain application status, and show dashboard history.
• Rank, score, filter, and explain job opportunities using profile and job context.
• Fill supported application fields, run supported queue workflows, pause for review, and detect submit confirmations.
• Generate or draft answers, application materials, and review flags.
• Detect errors, debug supported workflows, prevent abuse, protect accounts, and maintain service reliability.
• Send service updates, security notices, support replies, and product communications.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to provide the product, comply with law, or protect users and the service.

• Service providers: cloud hosting, authentication, database, storage, analytics, error monitoring, AI or extraction processors, email, and payment providers if paid plans are enabled.
• Job platforms and employers: when you submit an application, the application content is sent to the third-party job site or employer you are applying to.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, to enforce our terms, respond to legal process, or protect against fraud, abuse, or security threats.
• Business transfers: if YouxAI is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality safeguards.

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use resume, profile, application, or extension data for third-party advertising.
• We do not intentionally collect unrelated browsing history for non-YouxAI purposes.
• We do not share your private application content with employers unless you submit or direct us to submit it through a job platform.
• We do not use your private job-search records to make hiring decisions about you.

• Encryption in transit: we use HTTPS/TLS for network communication.
• Access controls: synced records are protected with authentication and database access controls.
• Local storage: the extension may store model settings, session state, queue state, and feature settings in browser storage.
• Retention: we keep account and workspace data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. You may request deletion.

• You can choose which jobs to save, queue, fill, review, or submit.
• You can edit profile data, reusable answers, and saved application records in the dashboard.
• You can uninstall the extension or disable features that require browser access.
• You can request access, correction, export, deletion, or restriction of your synced personal data by emailing us.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, or similar laws.

YouxAI is operated from the United States. If you use the service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required for international transfers.

10. Children

YouxAI is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice where required.
